I am by no means a Southern Belle. However, I do pride myself in certain aspects of manners and social graces. I know when it's appropriate to swear in public, how to spit without looking like Roseanne Barr and how to squat and pee without getting caught or urine on your clothing (thanks Dad!). I know that it's probably a good idea to always dress in a way that is casual but classic when going out, so that you are prepared for anything. I know from Google search, that if there are multiple dollar signs next to the restaurant, you should probably wear a dress and expect a wine menu.
My adventures in everyday life gramatified, spellified and romanticized for your own viewing pleasure.

Oddly Enough, It's Educational
We have since gotten AT&T U-Verse in my household. It rocks, imma just take an opportunity to tell you that straight off. We switched everything over from Verizon and Comcast and saved a BOAT load of money. As many of you know, I am a little anal retentive about saving money as I am poor. When we figured out the deal and basically got Cable for free, I was happy to switch over. Let's just say, DVR rocks my socks. I can fast forward through all the nonsense that I don't want to watch and go about my merry watching habits. Since the appearance of the DVR in my household I have learned just how exactly geeky my husband is. I love him to death, but HOLY WOAH!!, he's a super geek! Lemme explain.

Lessons Learned
I will admit it, my child is a tyrant. An 18 pound tyrant with an equally weighty attitude. She's not the happy baby that we ordered but she's mine and I love her to pieces. Sometimes I tell her I'm going to sell her to the circus or send her to China to start working off her debt to me. Either way, I am totally kidding and would probably reconsider the circus deal five minutes after making it. Maybe.

It's Post Y2K, Technology Is Cool
I have seriously been considering going tech free, even if it is only for a week. What drives my anti-technology fervor is the fact that my house is possessed.

Oh the Humanity!
As humans we have an interesting existence with machines. Technology is apart of our everyday lives and there is no going back now unless you plan to sell all of your belongings and move to a commune... which after many times of getting yelled at by customers at work, yeah I'm ready for that!
